The aim of the Training School for Guide Dogs is to help visually disabled people to gain integration with the assistance of a specially trained dog – a guide dog.
Independent and safe movement with a guide dog in comparison with white-stick assisted walking sets the visually disabled person free from mental strain, gives a feeling of security, self-confidence, and provides independence from sighted guides.
“To have a guide dog is a lot of worries, even bigger joy, and the biggest step towards independence,” PaedDr. Imrich Bartalos, founder of the Training School for Guide Dogs and guide dog user.
