After fulfilling all the required standards needed for acceptance by The International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF), VŠVP applied for membership in this organization, headquartered in Great Britain.

After the application was approved, VŠVP became an “associated” (affiliated) member with a five-year waiting period. Conditions for IGDF membership acceptance is the fulfilment of extensive qualitative criterion in the field of the breeding, raising, and training of guide dogs, their hand over to users, and providing needed support for these teams.
